If your wedding date is more than 5 months (or 150 days) away, start here...
The process for booking your wedding is slightly different for weddings that are more than 5 months away, as depending on where you are in the planning stages, you may not have all your details settled yet. Since most wedding vendors book 6-12 months in advance, now is still the right time to get everything booked so you aren't scrambling last minute to find an artist who is available to accommodate the needs of you and your bridal party. Pricing is also subject to change without notice, so locking in the current rates is highly advised!
STEP ONE: Request Your Date
After reviewing the pricing listed on the Investments page here, your first step is to make sure I'm still available for your date. Between being featured on numerous wedding blogs and assisting top artists during Bridal Fashion week in NYC, demand for my services has continued to grow for 2021 dates and beyond. Typically, my dates for the year are completely booked by the end of June of that year. Spring (March through May) is typically full by Christmastime.
It may seem a bit crazy, but just as with any other wedding vendor, beauty services are often secured 6-12 months in advance. It's never too early to contact me to get the ball rolling.
STEP TWO: Request A Retainer
After reviewing my pricing, checking out my portfolio, and reading my reviews, you've decided I'm the artist for you. Awesome! And, I'm available for your wedding date. Great! Now what happens? You're next step is to request a RETAINER.~ A retainer is like a mini contract. It will list your wedding date, getting ready location, and anticipated headcount for services. This locks in your pricing and adds your event to my calendar. It also will indicate if I need to reserve any assisting artists for your wedding day. Your wedding date will be closed to other inquiries until your trial, which must be held no less than 120 days before your wedding date. Your retainer fee pre-pays for your trial and any assisting artist fees.
STEP THREE: YOUR TRIAL RUN
You're next step is to schedule a TRIAL. Dates are not held without a signed contract and deposit, and to make sure that we are a good fit both aesthetically as well as on a personal level, I do require all brides to meet with me for a trial run of their wedding day look to ensure we are good fit before signing a contract. Per the terms of your retainer, trials must be held no less than 120 days before the wedding date so that we can make sure there is availability for any assisting artists needed.
At the trial, we'll set aside between 1-3 hours (depending on whether or not you want both hair and makeup) to go over all your details for the wedding day. We'll set a schedule, determine your exact look, take tons of photos, get to know each other better, and in general have a fabulous time in my studio. Once we're done, I'll fill in those details on your contract, we both sign, and a 50% deposit is due to secure your date.
STEP FOUR: SIGN A CONTRACT AND PAY THE DEPOSIT
At the time of your trial, if we both feel that special connection and it's time to put a signature on it, we'll execute a contract to secure your wedding date. A headcount is due along with a timeline for when the services need to be completed. Please make sure to speak to your photographer prior to your trial so that you know what time they will need you ready by. A 50% deposit of the committed number of services is due with the contract signing, and the remaining balance will be due ten days before the wedding date to allow for last minute add-on's. Please keep in mind that an assisting artist may be required for large groups and that an assisting artist may not be available last minute for add on services. Also, add on services after contracting are billed at a higher rate, so to avoid extra fees it's best to have a firm commitment from your bridal party as soon as possible. Your wedding date will be held for a maximum of 48 hours after your trial run to allow time for you to review, sign, and pay your contract and deposit. After signing, your date is now firmly booked on my calendar and closed to other bookings.
